USEFUL INFORMATION & ANSWERS TO COMMON QUESTIONS.
How far is the pub from town?
The Crown Country Inn is approximately 7, 11 & 14 miles from Craven Arms, Ludlow & Bridgnorth respectively.
Are the rooms wheelchair acessible?
No. The Crown is a 16th century inn, and is littered with awkward stairs, irregular flagstones & generally narrow and inconvenient corridors and passageways. Quaint, characterful, and snug, but not wheelchair friendly – sorry!
Is the bar wheelchair accessable?
Yes – The Crown is a 16th cenury inn, and whilst access is not especially convenient anywhere – for the bar it is possible. If you are planning on joining us for drinks and/or food, please let us know, and we can make sure that we’re ready to clear the way for you.
Booking Terms & Conditions for Dining
All tables must be pre-booked for dining before arriving to guarantee a table. Unfortunately with the climate as it is and no shows that do and have occurred in the past, we will be taking card details over the phone to confirm the reservation.
In the event that the booking is not honoured in whole or in part by the host , or is cancelled with less than 24 hours notice the deposit of £15 per person will be charged to the card.
Cakage - Bringing your own cake
You are more than welcome to bring birthday cakes and we will bring them out singing! Should you want to consume the cake at the premises a £2.50 per person charge will e added to your bill.
Paws For Thought..Four Legged Friends!
We welcome well behaved dogs in the main Bar areas and staff may use their discretion to allow dogs in other dining areas. Please do call us and we can advise what is best for you and your doggie.
I know it can be hard as they may get excited, but if they bark or whine excessively for the comfort of other guests, please try to keep them quiet and calm or you will be asked to take them out.
Please keep all dogs on leads and on the floor and not on the seating, sorry to mention this but you would be surprised how many owners let them sit on the comfy chairs for humans. We have lots of different doggie beds if they fancy a curl up.
Should your dog bark or whine excessively during your stay then sadly we will have to ask you to leave the dining area.
Our lovely staff always keep a tin of treats for our little furry friends, and we can give you water bowls if needed.
Do we need a car to get around?
Munslow is in a rural situation and whilst there are bus services that run through the village, they are irregular, and dare we say it, unreliable. A car is very definitely advisable.
Car Parking
There is a private car park opposite the Inn.
